Hi - my great grandma was Rose Lucraft, daughter to James Pearce Lucraft (son on the chair maker , Benjamin). Rose and her sister Ruth both married Manning brothers. Unfortunately, my Great grandad died of alcohol poisoning - bit ironic given Benjamin’s stance! Is your research still going on? I have a lovely photo of 5 generations of the Manning family -with Rose at the centre holding the youngest member of the family. Laura Manning
The Lucraft/Luckraft One name study has been running since 1974, when I first started looking for my father's forebears. It now includes all the variants world-wide, including Lovecraft, Luccraft, Luckcraft, Loucraft, and others. Many of the articles in this blog are taken from past issues of the Luc(k)raft Newsletter.
I am a member of the Society of Genealogists, the Guild of One Name Studies, and the Federation of Family History Societies.
